Why we started Foill
Being able to say what you want and were you want is in most countries a common good and Freedom of Speech is in many countries standard. On the internet however, this is a totally different story: Most sites are purely to send out information and do not have the option to give your feedback, express your thoughts or share your experiences. In some occasions the site does offer a way to discuss the content but when there is such an option, you need to create an account, make and remember a new (strong) password and log in. When you pass all this, your comment faces the judgement of the administrator of the site: Is your comment not in line with the ideas or rules of the site: it gets deleted. Not really the freedom we value so much in the real world, is it?
That is why we started Foill. With Foill, we want to give the user the power to express itself on the internet, even when the site does not have any functionality to do it. You only need Foill and your own voice. Have a question about something? Ask it. Want to give your opinion? Give it. Feel the need to share your experience? Share it. Whatever your reason might be to leave behind a comment on the site or page you visited, with Foill you can just do it.
